Step #2 Begin by preparing a 9 by 9 inch pan with a good coating of cooking spray & set aside.
Step #3 Also apply a bit of spray to your cooking spoon (preferably wooden).
Step #4 If your almonds are not already toasted, place them in a dry non-stick skillet over med-heat/flame.
Step #5 Cook for 2 to 3 mins, routinely tossing the almonds around the pan.
Step #6 The almonds should add just a small amount of color & become slightly aromatic.
Step #7 To make the bars, begin by adding the butter & brown sugar together In a large-ish sauce pan over medium to low heat.
Step #8 Stir while the both the butter & sugar melt for 2 mins or so.
Step #9 The result is smooth to the feel with a wooden spoon.
Step #10 In addition, you should be able to move it about the bottom of the pan with the spoon (sort of a blob).
Step #11 Add in the 1/4 tsp of cinnamon & stir.
Step #12 Add the miniature marshmallows & stir continuously helping the puffs to melt.
Step #13 Continue mixing until you have a pale brown mixture that is still rather loose.
Step #14 This is where things begin to move fast.
Step #15 Once the marshmallows are fully melted & mixed with the sugar, add in the Rice Krispies, almonds & apricots.
Step #16 Stir quickly to get all of the ingredients incorporated.
Step #17 Turn the mixture out into the 9 by 9 inch pan, distributing as much as possible using your spoon.
Step #18 To level the bars in the pan, give your palms a quick shot of cooking spray & pat down.
Step #19 Place the bars in the refrigerator for 30 mins to set.
Step #20 Invert pan & give the pan a good whack to release the Krispies bar.
Step #21 Slice into 12 pieces (4 by 3).
Step #22 Melt white chocolate chips in a double boiler over very low heat.
Step #23 (If you do not have a double boiler, you can fashion one using a large bowl over a smaller saucepan.
Step #24 Just be certain the fit is tight & no steam is being released.
Step #25 ).
Step #26 Add the oil to the chocolate & stir while the the chips continue to melt.
Step #27 If the chocolate begins to harden, this is sign the heat is too high & you should lower the flame or remove the top half of the double boiler from the bottom.
Step #28 Stir the Grand Marnier into the melted chocolate & use a spoon to stripe the bars on the diagonal allowing the melted chocolate to drip down the side.
Step #29 If you are a big fan of white chocolate, you can skip the drizzling & just dunk the bars into the white chocolate & place on waxed paper to cool.
Step #30 (Timesaver tip: If you want to speed things up a bit.
Step #31 You can melt the chocolate after placing the bars in the pan & drizzle over the entire pan before cooling & cutting.
