Pork Chops With Ginger-soy Glaze Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp sugar (or Splenda) .
  • 4 boneless pork loin chops (3/4-inch-thick) .
  • 2 tbsps soy sauce .
  • 1 tsp minced garlic .
  • 1 c canned low sodium chicken broth .
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil .
  • 2 tbsps dry white wine .
  • 2 green onions, sliced .
  • 2 tsps minced fresh ginger

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine chicken broth, sugar, soy sauce, wine, ginger & garlic in shallow glass dish; whisk to mix.
  • Step #2 Add pork & turn to coat.
  • Step #3 Refrigerate at least 30 mins & up to 3 hrs.
  • Step #4 Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Step #5 Drain pork & reserve marinade.
  • Step #6 Add pork to skillet & sauté until cooked through, about 5 mins per side.
  • Step #7 Transfer pork to platter.
  • Step #8 Add marinade & green onions to same skillet.
  • Step #9 Boil until reduced to glaze, about 1 min.
  • Step #10 Spoon glaze over pork.
