Crawfish Etouffeei Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can chicken broth
  • 4 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 2 bunches green onion, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 lb crawfish, peeled
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsps cornstarch
  • 1/4 c sliced green bell pepper
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 tbsp water

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oil & butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.
  • Step #2 Stir in onion, green onion, green pepper & celery; cook this until transparent.
  • Step #3 Mix in crawfish & tomato paste; cook for 10 mins.
  • Step #4 Pour chicken broth into skillet.
  • Step #5 In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water.
  • Step #6 Stir dissolved cornstarch into crawfish mixture & cook this until thickened, about 35 mins.
