Ingredients
  • 3 c sugar .
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened .
  • 1 tsp almond extract .
  • 1 1/2 c butter, room temperature .
  • 6 large eggs .
  • 1/4 tsp mace .
  • 3 c flour, sifted .
  • 1 pinch salt .
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions
  • Step #1 Place oven rack on bottom setting.
  • Step #2 Preheat oven to 325F degrees.
  • Step #3 Spray pan (large loaf pan by Wilton or 12 c Bundt).
  • Step #4 Mix butter & cream cheese.
  • Step #5 Add sugar.
  • Step #6 Add eggs one at a time, incorporating well.
  • Step #7 (You can add food coloring at this point, if you want.
  • Step #8 ).
  • Step #9 Add flour & salt.
  • Step #10 Mix well & add flavorings.
  • Step #11 Bake for 1.
  • Step #12 5 hrs.
