Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c milk
  • 1 lb ground pork sausage
  • 8 oz mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 6 slices white bread, toasted & cut into cubes
  • 1 tsp mustard powder

Directions
  • Step #1 Crumble sausage into a medium skillet.
  • Step #2 Cook over med-heat/flame until evenly brown; drain.
  • Step #3 In a medium bowl, salt, mix together mustard powder, eggs & milk.
  • Step #4 Add the sausage, bread cubes, & cheese, & stir this to coat evenly.
  • Step #5 Pour into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Step #6 Cover, & chill in the refrigerator for 8 hrs, or overnight.
  • Step #7 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #8 Cover, & bake 45 to 60 mins.
  • Step #9 Uncover, & reduce temperature to 325F degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Step #10 Bake for an extra 30 mins, or until set.
