Pepper Crab Cream Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 oz tomato sauce .
  • 8 oz butter .
  • 2 tbsps cayenne pepper .
  • 1/4 c flour .
  • 2 c sliced red bell peppers .
  • 2 c sliced onions .
  • 1/2 gallon heavy cream .
  • 2 lbs lump crabmeat, cleaned .
  • 2 c sliced green bell peppers .
  • 1 tbsp white pepper .
  • 1/4 c paprika

Directions
  • Step #1 saute the onions & bell peppers in 4 oz.
  • Step #2 of butter until soft & transparent.
  • Step #3 In a large-ish stock pan add heavy cream, onions & peppers, crab meat, tomato sauce, paprika, cayenne, & white pepper.
  • Step #4 Heat the ingrediants til just boiling taking care not to scald or burn.
  • Step #5 in another pan melt butter, add flour making a roux.
  • Step #6 Slowly add to cream mixture until soup is thick, smooth & creamy.
