Fresh Asparagus Canneloni Recipe

Ingredients
  • 10 slices ham, thinly sliced .
  • 10 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente, but soft enough to roll up .
  • 3 tbsps grated fresh parmesan cheese .
  • 2 lbs fresh green asparagus, peeled & hard ends trimmed .
  • 10 slices swiss cheese or monterey jack cheese, thin .
  • 1/2 c bechamel sauce

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 325°F.
  • Step #2 Take one lasagna noodle, lay it flat, & one slice of cheese, & add one slich of ham, & three whole asparagus.
  • Step #3 Roll up & place seam side down in a greased casserole.
  • Step #4 Repeat until all ingredients are used up.
  • Step #5 Add béchamel sauce, cover with foil wrap & bake for 15-20 mins, or until the asparagus is al dente.
  • Step #6 Remove foil wrap, sprinkle with parmesan, & continue cooking until the top is golden & bubbly.
