Ingredients
  • 6 quarts ripe tomatoes (24-30) .
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper .
  • 2 red sweet peppers .
  • 1/2 c pickling salt .
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds .
  • 8 onions .
  • 1/2 tsp celery seeds .
  • 1 c vinegar .
  • 2 green peppers .
  • 4 c sugar .
  • 1 head celery

Directions
  • Step #1 Skin tomatoes, cut up Chop the rest of the vegetables.
  • Step #2 Sprinkle top with 1/2 c pickling salt.
  • Step #3 Let stand overnight.
  • Step #4 In the morning drain & rinse.
  • Step #5 Add sugar, spices & vinegar.
  • Step #6 Cook for 1/2 hr Seal in sterile jars.
