Easy Beef Stew Oven Or Crock Pot
Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c beef broth .
  • 1/2 tsp pepper .
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce .
  • 1/8 c flour .
  • 1 c thickly sliced button mushrooms .
  • 1 stalk celery, thickly sliced .
  • 3 carrots, sliced thickly .
  • 1 1/2 tsps paprika .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1 onion, sliced .
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch, mixed with a little water .
  • 1/2 tsp marjoram .
  • 1 pinch chili pepper flakes .
  • 4 small yukon gold potatoes, sliced .
  • 1 minced garlic clove or 1/2 tsp garlic powder .
  • 1 1/2 lbs stewing beef, cut in 1 inch pieces

Directions
  • Step #1 Put beef in crock pot.
  • Step #2 Mix together flour, salt & pepper & pour over the meat.
  • Step #3 Stir to coat each piece of meat with flour mixture.
  • Step #4 Add the remaining ingredients & stir this to mix well.
  • Step #5 Cover up & cook on low for 10 to 12 hrs or on high for 4 to 6 hrs.
  • Step #6 15 mins before ready to serve, stir in the cornstarch slurry & put crock pot on high.
  • Step #7 Stir stew thoroughly before serving & enjoy.
