Eggnog Pound Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (18 1/4 oz) package yellow cake mix .
  • 1-8 tsp nutmeg .
  • 1 1/2 c eggnog .
  • 2 eggs .
  • 2 tbsps rum or 1/4 tsp rum flavoring .
  • 1/4 c butter, melted

Directions
  • Step #1 READ ALL OF THE , eggs, BEFORE MAKING CAKE! Combine cake mix, butter/margarine, eggnog, nutmeg, & rum In a large-ish mixing bowl.
  • Step #2 Beat with electric mixer about 4 min or 450 strokes by hand.
  • Step #3 Pour batter into a greased 10" bundt or tube pan.
  • Step #4 Bake at 350 for 45-55 min or until a long wooden skewer inserted into the thickest portion comes out clean.
  • Step #5 Cool in the pan for 10 mins, then invert cake onto a rack & cool completely.
  • Step #6 Note: You can use just about any flavor cake mix, French Vanilla, Lemon, such as, or try chocolate.
