Cherry Berries On A Cloud Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c heavy whipping cream, whipped
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  • FILLING:
  • 1 3/4 c sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 (3 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 6 egg whites
  • 2 c sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 c miniature marshmallows
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • TOPPING:

Directions
  • Step #1 In a mixing bowl, beat egg whites, cream of tartar & salt until foamy.
  • Step #2 Gradually add sugar, 1 tbsp at a time, beating on high until stiff peaks form (do not underbeat).
  • Step #3 Spread evenly in a greased 13-in.
  • Step #4 x 9-in.
  • Step #5 x 2-in.
  • Step #6 baking pan.
  • Step #7 Bake at 275 degrees F for 1 hr; turn off oven (do not open door).
  • Step #8 Let cool in oven overnight or at least 12 hrs.
  • Step #9 Beat cream cheese, sugar & vanilla until smooth; carefully fold in whipped cream & marshmallows.
  • Step #10 Spread over meringue.
  • Step #11 Chill for 4 hrs.
  • Step #12 Cut into 16 pieces.
  • Step #13 Combine topping ingredients; spoon 1/4 c over each serving.
