Marble Bundt Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 oz bittersweet chocolate, sliced & melted .
  • 1 c unsalted butter, at about room temp .
  • 3/4 c dark chocolate chips .
  • 2 c light sour cream .
  • 1 tsp fine salt .
  • 4 c all-purpose flour .
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract .
  • 4 large eggs, at about room temp .
  • 3/4 c white chocolate chips .
  • 2 tsps baking powder .
  • 2 c sugar .
  • 2 tsps baking soda

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 325F & grease & flour a 12-c bundt pan.
  • Step #2 Beat butter & sugar together with electric beaters until light & fluffy.
  • Step #3 Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Step #4 Beat in sour cream & vanilla.
  • Step #5 Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt & add to cake in three additions, mixing carefully after each addition.
  • Step #6 Remove 2 c of batter & stir in the melted bittersweet chocolate.
  • Step #7 Stir dark chocolate chips into white cake batter & stir white chocolate chips into dark batter.
  • Step #8 Dollop the different batters into prepared pan alternately, & run a knife through the cake once, swirling the batter just a little.
  • Step #9 Bake cake for 60 to 70 mins, until a tester inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Step #10 Allow cake to cool for 20 mins before turning out to cool completely.
