Fennel With Apples And French Vinaigrette Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tart green apple .
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard .
  • salt & pepper .
  • 1 fresh lemon, juice of .
  • 2 tbsps balsamic vinegar .
  • 2 large fennel bulbs .
  • olive oil

Directions
  • Step #1 Cut the leaves off the fennel, & thoroughly clean the stalks & bottom of the bulb.
  • Step #2 Cut into 1 inch pieces.
  • Step #3 Peel & cut the apple into thin 1 inch pieces.
  • Step #4 Add to the fennel.
  • Step #5 Drizzle with olive oil.
  • Step #6 In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice, vinegar & mustard.
  • Step #7 Spice up with salt & a bit of black pepper to taste.
  • Step #8 Add to the fennel mixture, mix & serve.
