Step #1 Cook onion & garlic in olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat 2 mins.
Step #2 Add orange juice & nest 6 ingredients.
Step #3 Bring to a boil.
Step #4 Remove from heat;cool.
Step #5 Reserve 1/4 c marinade & put in the fridge it.
Step #6 Place chicken in a shallow dish or heavy duty, zip-top plastic bag.
Step #7 Pour remaining marinade over chicken.
Step #8 Cover up or seal; marinate in refrigerator 8 hrs, turning chicken every once in awhile.
Step #9 Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade.
Step #10 Dry chicken with a paper towel.
Step #11 Place on a lightly greased rack, & place rack in broiler pan.
Step #12 Bake at 400F for 15 mins; reduce heat to 350F, & bake 1 hr & 15 mins, basting with reserved 1/4 c marinade.
Step #13 Cover up chicken with aluminum foil wrap after 1 hr to prevent excessive browning.
Step #14 Place on serving platter & garnish.
