Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 c butter, softened
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 c raisins
2 c quick-cooking oats
1 c coarsely sliced fresh or frozen cranberries
2 c all-purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp grated orange peel
1 1/2 c sugar
1 (12 oz) package vanilla chips

Directions

Step #1 In a mixing bowl, cream butter & sugar.
Step #2 Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Step #3 Beat in vanilla.
Step #4 Combine flour, baking powder, salt & baking soda; add to the creamed mixture.
Step #5 Stir in oats, raisins, cranberries & orange peel.
Step #6 Stir in vanilla chips.
Step #7 Drop by rounded tspfuls 2 in.
Step #8 apart onto greased baking sheets.
Step #9 Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-12 mins or until the edges are lightly browned.
Step #10 Cool on wire racks.
Step #11 .
