Chicken Alfredo Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 c cooked chicken .
  • 1 (12 oz) package fettuccine .
  • 3 green onions, sliced .
  • 2 tbsps butter .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1/2 tsp pepper .
  • 1 c frozen peas .
  • 1 c heavy cream .
  • 1/4 lb mushrooms, quartered .
  • 1/3 c parmesan cheese, grated

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook fettuccine according to package directions.
  • Step #2 Sauté mushrooms & green onions in butter In a large-ish skillet until tender, about 3 mins.
  • Step #3 Add cream to the skillet.
  • Step #4 Bring to a boil.
  • Step #5 Lower the heat & carefully boil, until slightly reduced, uncovered, about 5 mins.
  • Step #6 Add peas, chicken, salt, & pepper.
  • Step #7 Cook stirring every once in awhile.
  • Step #8 until hot.
  • Step #9 When fettuccine is cooked; drain.
  • Step #10 Transfer to a large serving bowl.
  • Step #11 Pour chicken mixture over; sprinkle with cheese.
  • Step #12 Toss carefully to mix well.
