The True Tator Tot Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 14 1/2 oz sweet corn, drained .
  • 2 c colby-monterey jack cheese, shredded (less if you don't like a ton of cheese) .
  • 1 lb ground beef .
  • 40 tater tots, approx. (frozen) .
  • 1 small onion, sliced .
  • 10 1/2 oz cream of mushroom soup .
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat your oven to 350.
  • Step #2 In a skillet brown the hamburger with the onions & garlic powder.
  • Step #3 Drain.
  • Step #4 Place Hamburger Mixture in the bottom of your casserole dish.
  • Step #5 On top of that, layer your cream of mushroom soup.
  • Step #6 Next layer your drained sweet corn.
  • Step #7 Place your tator tots on top, one by one, trying to get it one layer deep, but as close together as possible.
  • Step #8 Next sprinkle as much of the cheese as you want on top.
  • Step #9 Bake for 1 hr.
