Moist Chocolate Cake To Die For! Recipe

Ingredients
  • to serve .
  • 250 g dark chocolate .
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence .
  • 30 g plain flour .
  • 200 g dark chocolate .
  • creme fraiche (optional) .
  • icing sugar (optional) .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 50 ml water .
  • 4 whole eggs .
  • 200 g caster sugar .
  • 60 ml milk .
  • 1 kg butter .
  • 250 ml double cream

Directions
  • Step #1 1).
  • Step #2 melt butter, sliced chocolate.
  • Step #3 water & vanilla in bowl over hot water or in microwave.
  • Step #4 in another bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar until pale in colour & the whisk leaves a trail.
  • Step #5 add melted chocolate mixture & stir well.
  • Step #6 sieve the flour & salf & add to mixture.
  • Step #7 2).
  • Step #8 butter & lightly dust with flour a 10inch tin.
  • Step #9 pour mixture & bake 25mins at 150 degrees Celsius.
  • Step #10 3).
  • Step #11 sauce: bring cream & milk to the boil & pour in the choc buttons.
  • Step #12 stir until chocolate has dissolved.
  • Step #13 4).
  • Step #14 to serve, pour the warm chocolate sauce over the cake & serve this with dusted icing sugar & a dollop of creme fraiche.
