Lemon Pineapple Jello Dessert Recipe

Ingredients

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese .
1/2 c Cool Whip (for topping) .
2 (3 oz) packages lemon Jell-O gelatin or pineapple Jell-O .
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapples, undrained .
2 1/2 c water .
1/2 c sliced walnuts (optional)

Directions

Step #1 In medium sauce pan mix jello & water stir just until mixed.
Step #2 Add pineapple & cream cheese.
Step #3 Cook over med-heat/flame untill cream cheese is dissolved.
Step #4 (it will not look very good but it is okay.
Step #5 ) When cream cheese is completely melted, Pour into a 9"x13" pan Chill over night.
Step #6 Top with thawed cool whip, sprinkle with nuts (if desired).
