Joe's Mom's Egg Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (16 oz) package egg roll wraps .
  • 1/2 lb chicken breasts .
  • 1/2 tsp pepper .
  • 1 tsp sugar .
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt .
  • 3 carrot sticks .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 4 oz sliced mushrooms, drained .
  • 1/2 head cabbage .
  • 1/2 medium onion .
  • 2 eggs .
  • 1/2 lb ground pork .
  • 1 7/8 oz vermicelli (bean thread)

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook ground pork & chicken breast & chop until fine.
  • Step #2 Chop carrots, mushrooms, cabbage, & onion very finely.
  • Step #3 Put vermicelli in a bowl of warm water for 15 mins.
  • Step #4 Remove, drain & cut into 1-1/2 inch sections.
  • Step #5 Mix meat, pepper, eggs, salt, sugar, vegetables, garlic salt & vermicelli in a bowl.
  • Step #6 Heat up cooking oil to 400F degrees.
  • Step #7 Follow directions on egg roll wrap package to add filling & fold wrap.
  • Step #8 Cook until golden brown.
