Cheesy Round Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 (16 oz) package hot roll mix
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tsps garlic salt
  • 3/4 c shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 c warm water (120 to 130 degrees F)
  • 1/2 c sliced ripe olives, well drained
  • 1 egg white, beaten

Directions
  • Step #1 In a mixing bowl, mix contents of roll mix & yeast packet.
  • Step #2 Add warm water; mix well.
  • Step #3 Add the egg, butter & seasonings.
  • Step #4 Turn onto a floured surface.
  • Step #5 Knead in cheese & olives.
  • Step #6 Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top.
  • Step #7 Cover & let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hr.
  • Step #8 Punch dough down.
  • Step #9 Press into a 12-in.
  • Step #10 pizza pan.
  • Step #11 Cover & let rise in a warm place until doubled, 30 mins.
  • Step #12 With a sharp knife, make three or four slashes across top of loaf.
  • Step #13 Brush with egg white.
  • Step #14 Bake at 325F degrees F for 40-45 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #15 Cool for 5 mins before removing from pan to a wire rack.
