Rosewater Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c caster sugar .
  • 1 tbsp light cream .
  • sugar, for sprinkling .
  • 1 large egg .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 2 1/2 c flour .
  • 1 tsp baking powder .
  • 1 c butter, softened .
  • 1 tbsp rose water

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix all ingredients together until a firm dough forms.
  • Step #2 Form a roll with the mixture & wrap in cling film.
  • Step #3 Chill for at least an hr, then slice thinly.
  • Step #4 Heat oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
  • Step #5 Line a cookie sheet with nonstick parchment paper.
  • Step #6 Arrange cookies so that there is enough space for them to spread.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top lightly with sugar & bake for about 10 mins, or until they are just turning brown on the edges.
