Rosewater Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 c caster sugar .
1 tbsp light cream .
sugar, for sprinkling .
1 large egg .
1/2 tsp salt .
2 1/2 c flour .
1 tsp baking powder .
1 c butter, softened .
1 tbsp rose water

Directions

Step #1 Mix all ingredients together until a firm dough forms.
Step #2 Form a roll with the mixture & wrap in cling film.
Step #3 Chill for at least an hr, then slice thinly.
Step #4 Heat oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
Step #5 Line a cookie sheet with nonstick parchment paper.
Step #6 Arrange cookies so that there is enough space for them to spread.
Step #7 Sprinkle top lightly with sugar & bake for about 10 mins, or until they are just turning brown on the edges.
