Fried Chicken (chinese Style) Recipe

Ingredients
  • Sauce .
  • 3 minced garlic cloves .
  • 3 tbsps soy sauce .
  • 2 tbsps water .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1 (2-3 lb) roasting chickens .
  • 4 c oil .
  • 2 tbsps oyster sauce .
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube .
  • 2 chives, sliced .
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce .
  • 1/2 tsp pepper .
  • 1 tbsp sugar .
  • 1 tbsp Chinese five spice powder .
  • 1 tbsp cornflour .
  • 1/2 c water

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine seasoning in a small bowl.
  • Step #2 Rub the cavity & outside of the chicken with seasoning.
  • Step #3 Heat oil in wok or deep fryer to 190 degrees celcius ( 375 degrees F).
  • Step #4 Drain the chicken & place this in hot oil.
  • Step #5 Lower the flame to medium heat & fry the chicken, turning a few times until done (about 30 mins).
  • Step #6 Drain.
  • Step #7 cool & chop into bite sized pieces.
  • Step #8 Serve with sauce & garnish with sliced chives.
  • Step #9 For sauce:.
  • Step #10 Boil water in small saucepan, add bouillon cube, oyster sauce & soy sauce.
  • Step #11 Boil for 2 mins.
  • Step #12 Blend cornflour & water & add slowly, stirring constantly to thicken.
