Perfect Yorkshire Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4-1/2 c pan drippings, to coat a 9x13-inch baking dish .
  • 2 1/2 c milk .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 6 large eggs .
  • 2 c all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Whisk together salt & flour; set aside.
  • Step #2 In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs & milk.
  • Step #3 Add flour mixture & whisk until mixd; cover with plastic wrap & chill in the refrigerator at least 4 hrs or overnight.
  • Step #4 When the roast is done, raise oven temperature to 425°F.
  • Step #5 Transfer enough pan drippings to coat pan & heat pan in oven until hot.
  • Step #6 Remove batter from refrigerator & whisk well.
  • Step #7 Remove pan from oven & quickly add batter.
  • Step #8 Bake until crisp & golden 20-35 mins.
  • Step #9 Serve with prime rib & gravy.
