Smoked Trout (or Salmon) Dip Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c cream cheese, softened .
  • 1/2 c sour cream .
  • 1 (8 oz) boneless smoked trout .
  • 1 tbsp prepared horseradish .
  • 1 tbsp minced flat leaf parsley .
  • 1 tbsp minced red onions .
  • 1/2 lemon, juice of

Directions
  • Step #1 Discard head & skin of trout, if present.
  • Step #2 Flake remaining trout fillets.
  • Step #3 Puree cream cheese, sour cream, & horseradish in food processor/blender.
  • Step #4 Add fish & pulse to make a smooth dip.
  • Step #5 Transfer to a bowl & stir in the onion, parsley, & lemon juice.
  • Step #6 Refrigerate, covered, at least one hr.
