Peanut Butter And Chocolate Melt Away Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c all-purpose flour .
  • 2 eggs, beaten .
  • 1 c peanut butter .
  • 1/2 c butter .
  • 1/4 c cocoa .
  • 1 c butter .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 2 c sugar .
  • buttermilk icing .
  • 1 c water .
  • 1 tsp baking soda .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 6 tbsps buttermilk .
  • 1/4 c cocoa .
  • 1/2 c buttermilk .
  • 1 lb powdered sugar .
  • 3/4 tbsp vegetable oil (peanut preferred)

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step #2 Combine butter, buttermilk, water, cocoa, & eggs in a pan.
  • Step #3 Cook over low heat/flame until bubbly.
  • Step #4 Add flour, baking soda, sugar, & vanilla.
  • Step #5 Mix well.
  • Step #6 Pour into nonstick 11x13 inch cake pan or Lady Ann cake pan.
  • Step #7 Bake for 30 mins.
  • Step #8 Mix the oil & peanut butter together & spread over warm cake.
  • Step #9 Chill thoroughly.
  • Step #10 Make icing by combining cocoa & butter in pan.
  • Step #11 Cook unitl bubbly.
  • Step #12 Add the remaining ingredients.
  • Step #13 Mix until spreading consistency.
