New York Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c sour cream .
  • 3 eggs .
  • 1 c graham cracker crumbs .
  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling .
  • 1 c sugar .
  • 1 tsp cinnamon .
  • 5 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened .
  • 3 tbsps sugar .
  • 1 tbsp vanilla .
  • 3 tbsps flour .
  • 3 tbsps butter or margarine, melted

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix crumbs, 3 tbsps sugar, butter & cinnamon; press onto bottom of 9-inch spring form pan.
  • Step #2 Bake at 350 degrees for 10 mins.
  • Step #3 Mix cream cheese, 1 c sugar, flour & vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well mixed.
  • Step #4 Add eggs, mixing on lowish speed after each addition, 1 at a time, just until mixed.
  • Step #5 Blend in sour cream.
  • Step #6 Pour over crust.
  • Step #7 Bake 1 hr & 5 mins to 1 hr & 10 mins or until center is set.
  • Step #8 Run a small knife around the rim of the pan to lossen cake; cool before removing rim of pan.
  • Step #9 Refrigerate 4 hrs or overnight.
  • Step #10 Top with cherry pie filling.
  • Step #11 Tips: To cut perfect cheesecake slices, use a wet knife.
  • Step #12 Storage suggestions: This will stay fresh up to 3 days in refrigerator & 1 week in freezer.
  • Step #13 Cover up with plastic wrap or a cake box with a lid.
