Chicken Souffle Recipe

Ingredients
  • pepper .
  • salt .
  • 2 c milk .
  • 1 c sliced celery .
  • 12 slices bread .
  • 1 (4 oz) can sliced mushrooms (optional) .
  • 1 c mayonnaise .
  • 2 c sliced cooked chicken .
  • 1/2 lb cheddar cheese, grated .
  • 1 (10 oz) can cream of chicken soup .
  • 4 eggs, beaten

Directions
  • Step #1 Trim bread.
  • Step #2 Arrange half the bread in 13 X 9 inch pan; sprinkle with chicken, celery, onion & mushrooms.
  • Step #3 Cover up with remaining bread.
  • Step #4 Combine milk, eggs, mayonnaise, salt & pepper; pour over bread.
  • Step #5 Refrigerate overnight.
  • Step #6 Pour soup over top.
  • Step #7 Bake at 325F degrees for 45 mins.
  • Step #8 Cover up with cheese; bake for 15 mins longer.
