Step #1 Preheat broiler; arrange artichokes on the bread slices & place on a baking sheet; top this with cheese.
Step #2 In a nonstick skillet, heat the olive oil over med-high heat; add in the garlic & lightly brown.
Step #3 Add in the red wine vinegar, oregano, capers, & black pepper; cook 1-2 mins or until the liquid reduces to about 2 tsps; stir in the the parsley.
Step #4 Spoon mixture over the cheese-topped bread.
Step #5 Broil until the cheese melts, bubbles, & turns golden in spots.
