Step #1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step #2 Coat a 9x9 inch cooking dish with cooking spray.
Step #3 Heat 1 tbsp oil in medium skillet.
Step #4 Saute the onion until soft & translucent.
Step #5 In a large bowl mix cottage cheese, egg, cornflake crumbs, oil & sauteed onion.
Step #6 Gradually stir in the the milk to moisten.
Step #7 You might only need 1/2 c of the milk, the mixture should be moist but not soupy.
Step #8 Spread the cottage cheese mixture into the prepared pan & bake this at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 40 mins or until bubbly & a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
