• 1/2 tsp chili powder .
• 12 oz cavatappi pasta .
• 1 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese .
• 1/4 tsp black pepper .
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder .
• 1/2 tsp ground cumin .
• 1 (16 oz) jar alfredo sauce .
• 1 (14 1/2 oz) can sliced tomatoes with green chilies, drained

• Step #1 Preheat broiler & position the rack so that a 1 1/2 quart baking dish will be 4" from the heat source.
• Step #2 Cook pasta in salted water according to pkg.
• Step #3 directions; drain.
• Step #4 In same pot, chili & garlic powders, heat sauce with cumin, & pepper over low heat/flame.
• Step #5 Stir in tomatoes & 1 c cheese; stir until cheese has melted.
• Step #6 Add drained pasta.
• Step #7 Transfer to ungreased 1 1/2 quart baking or casserole dish, & sprinkle with remaining cheese.
• Step #8 Broil until cheese is melted & lightly browned, about 2 mins.
