1 c white chocolate chips or peanut butter chips .
1 tsp vanilla .
3/4 c sugar .
1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips .
1/3 c unsweetened cocoa powder .
1/2 tsp baking powder .
1/2 c shortening .
2 eggs
Directions
Step #1 Grease a large cookie sheet; set aside.
Step #2 In a bowl, beat the butter & shortening using an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.
Step #3 Add in sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, & salt; beat until mixd.
Step #4 Add in eggs & vanilla; beat until mixd.
Step #5 Beat in flour & cocoa powder on lowish speed just until mixd; stir in the oats, chocolate pieces, white baking pieces, & macadamia nuts with a wooden spoon.
Step #6 Drop dough by a ¼-c measure or scoop 3 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheet.
Step #7 Press into 3-inch circles; bake this at 350° for 12-14 mins or just until set.
Step #8 Cool on cookie sheet for 1 min; transfer cookies to a wire rack & let cool.
