Mary's Pea Picking Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 18 3/4 oz yellow cake mix .
  • 20 oz crushed pineapple .
  • Frosting .
  • 8 oz Cool Whip .
  • 1 (6 oz) box vanilla pudding mix .
  • 3 eggs .
  • 6 oz mandarin oranges .
  • 1/4 c oil

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix all cake ingredients for 1 min or until well mixed on lowish speed.
  • Step #2 Then mix on medium speed for 2 mins.
  • Step #3 Pour cake mix into 3 - 8" round greased & floured cake pans.
  • Step #4 Bake for 25-30 min at 350 degrees.
  • Step #5 Mix all frosting ingredients together (mixture will be thick).
  • Step #6 Frost all layers of the cake when cooled & the sides.
  • Step #7 Refrigerate for 24 hrs before serving.
  • Step #8 Store in a covered plastic container in the fridge.
