Cranberry Chutney Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c pears, sliced .
  • 1/2 c celery, sliced .
  • 1/4 c walnuts, coarsely sliced .
  • 16 oz fresh cranberries .
  • 2 tbsps candied ginger, minced .
  • 1/2 c apples, sliced .
  • 1 tsp onion salt (optional) .
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves .
  • 2 tbsps lemon juice .
  • 1/2 c water .
  • 1/2 c dark raisins .
  • 3/4 c brown sugar, packed

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine all ingredients in large saucepan, & bring to boil, stirring constantly.
  • Step #2 Lower heat & simmer, uncovered, 15 mins, stirring every once in awhile.
  • Step #3 Cool to about room temp, then store this in refrigerator [will keep several weeks].
