Sour Cream Peach Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c unsalted butter, cold .
  • FOR THE TOPPING .
  • 1/3 c granulated sugar .
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon .
  • 1 c sour cream .
  • 3/4 c sugar .
  • 1/3 c all-purpose flour .
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 3 c peaches, fresh, sliced .
  • 2 tbsps all-purpose flour .
  • FOR THE PIE .
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions
  • Step #1 FOR THE PIE:.
  • Step #2 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Step #3 Peel & slice peaches.
  • Step #4 Mix peaches with other filling ingredients.
  • Step #5 Pour into an unbaked 9"-10" deep dish pie shell.
  • Step #6 Bake about 30 mins, until pie is slightly brown.
  • Step #7 While pie is baking, prepare the topping.
  • Step #8 FOR THE TOPPING:.
  • Step #9 Blend cold butter, sugar, flour & cinnamon with pastry cutter, until crumbs are the size of small peas.
  • Step #10 Sprinkle top topping evenly over pie, & bake another 15 mins.
  • Step #11 Cool to about room temp, then chill in refrigerator before serving.
