Pickled Turnip (lift Makbouse) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 5 c jalapeno pickling liquid .
  • 2 large beetroots .
  • 1 hot pepper .
  • 2 lbs turnips

Directions
  • Step #1 Blanch turnips in boiling water & then peel them.
  • Step #2 Peel the beetroot.
  • Step #3 Wash the turnips & beetroot well & slice into quarters.
  • Step #4 Place In a large-ish sterile glass jar with the hot pepper.
  • Step #5 Cover up with the pickling solution & seal with an airtight lid.
  • Step #6 Let set at least 10 days before using.
