Doubly Delicious Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c butter flavored shortening
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 c packed brown sugar
1 c white sugar
1 1/2 c all-purpose flour
2 eggs
2 c peanut butter chips
1 c crunchy peanut butter

Directions

Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step #2 Combine sugars, peanut butter & shortening in large bowl.
Step #3 Beat at medium speed of mixer until well mixed.
Step #4 Add eggs, one at a time, beating well afer each addition.
Step #5 Combine flour, baking soda & salt.
Step #6 Add slowly to creamed mixture at lowish speed.
Step #7 Mix just until mixed.
Step #8 Stir in peanut butter chips with spoon.
Step #9 (Dough will be stiff.
Step #10 ) Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls.
Step #11 Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Step #12 Make crisscross marks on top this with floured fork tines.
Step #13 Bake for 8 to 10 mins or until edges are set & tops are moist.
Step #14 Cool about 8 mins on baking sheet before removing to flat surface.
