Creamy Mushroom Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 c chicken stock
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • 1/4 c grated Parmesan cheese for topping
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 (12 oz) package dry fettuccine noodles
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 c white wine
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  • Step #2 Add pasta & olive oil.
  • Step #3 Cook for 7 mins, or until tender.
  • Step #4 Drain.
  • Step #5 Meanwhile, melt butter in a skillet over low heat/flame.
  • Step #6 Add the mushrooms, & cook this until soft & dark.
  • Step #7 Stir in the garlic, Italian seasoning, white wine, salt, & chicken broth.
  • Step #8 Increase the heat to medium, & cook stirring constantly for about 5 mins.
  • Step #9 Reduce heat to low, & stir in the the sour cream until smooth.
  • Step #10 Stir in cornstarch, & let simmer for a min to thicken.
  • Step #11 Stir in pasta, or spoon sauce over pasta.
  • Step #12 Serve, & top this with grated Parmesan cheese.
