• 1 c vegetable oil .
• 1 c slivered almonds, blanched .
• 1 1/2 tsps vanilla extract .
• 1 c soya flour .
• 5 c rolled oats .
• 1 c sunflower seeds .
• 1 c honey .
• 1/2 c shredded coconut .
• 1/2 c dark brown sugar .
• 1 c dry milk, non-instant .
• 1 1/2 c wheat germ .
• 1 c bran flakes .
• 1 c raw cashew nuts .
• 2 c dark raisins .
• 1 1/2 c sesame seeds, unhulled

• Step #1 Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
• Step #2 In a large bowl, mix together the first 11 ingredients [the dry ones].
• Step #3 In a small bowl, mix the oil, & add to the dry mix, honey & vanilla, folding it in with a wooden spoon.
• Step #4 Spread this mixture onto the bottom of a large roasting pan, for 1 1/4 hrs, stirring every once in awhile, & bake it, or until light brown.
• Step #5 Cool the baked granola, stirring it several times, & when cooled, add the raisins.
• Step #6 Place in tight, glass containers.
