Death By Chocolatei Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 (1.4 oz) bars chocolate covered English toffee
  • 1/2 c coffee flavored liqueur
  • 2 (16 oz) packages frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/8 c slivered almonds for topping
  • 1 (18.25 oz) package chocolate cake mix
  • 2 (5.9 oz) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 8 c milk

Directions
  • Step #1 Bake cake according to package directions for one 9x13 inch cake.
  • Step #2 When cake is cool poke holes in the top & pour the coffee liqueur over it.
  • Step #3 Break up the cake into 1 inch cubes & set aside.
  • Step #4 Mix the pudding mixes with the milk until thick.
  • Step #5 In a large punch bowl layer 1/2 of the cake cubes, 1/2 of the pudding, 1/2 of the crushed candy bars, & 1/2 of the whipped topping.
  • Step #6 Repeat layers following the same order.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top top toasted almonds & any extra crushed butter toffee candy bars, if desired.
  • Step #8 Cover & put in the fridge for several hrs before serving.
