Carrots Marsala Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, sliced .
  • 1/4 c marsala wine .
  • 1/4 c water .
  • 1 tbsp olive oil .
  • 1 lb carrots, peeled, diagonally sliced .
  • fresh ground black pepper, to taste

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large saucepan, wine, water, mix carrots, oil, & pepper.
  • Step #2 Bring to a boil, cover, & let simmer for 10 mins, reduce the heat, basting every once in awhile.
  • Step #3 Transfer to a serving dish, spoon any juices on top, & sprinkle with parsley.
  • Step #4 Serving size: 1/2 c.
  • Step #5 Exchanges Per Serving: 1 Vegetable, 1/2 Fat.
