  • 1 tbsp sliced fresh basil or 1 1/2 tsps dried basil .
  • 1/3 c balsamic vinegar .
  • 1/2 c extra virgin olive oil .
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed .
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes .
  • 1 tbsp sliced fresh rosemary or 1 1/2 tsps dried rosemary .
  • 1 tbsp sliced fresh sage or 1 1/2 tsps dried sage .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1 c hearty red wine

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large bowl, whisk together the first eight ingredients.
  • Step #2 Then slowly whisk in the oil.
  • Step #3 Use as soon as possible.
