Black And White Layered Brownie Delight Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c brown sugar .
  • Cheesecake .
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract .
  • 1 1/2 c all-purpose flour .
  • 1 1/2 c all-purpose flour .
  • 1/2 c butter .
  • 2 (2 7/8 oz) packages chocolate mousse mix .
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder .
  • 2 eggs .
  • 2 eggs .
  • Blondie .
  • 1/2 c corsely sliced dry roasted peanuts .
  • 2/3 c creamy peanut butter .
  • Brownie .
  • chocolate shavings .
  • 2 tsps baking powder .
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese .
  • 2 eggs .
  • 6 tbsps unsweetened cocoa powder .
  • sliced dry roasted peanuts .
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder .
  • 6 tbsps butter .
  • Garnish .
  • 1/3 c all-purpose flour .
  • caramel topping .
  • 1 c milk (or jar chocolate frosting) .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1 c milk .
  • 1 1/3 c sugar .
  • 2/3 c sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Line 13x9 inch pan with foil wrap covering all sides.
  • Step #2 To make Blondie Layer: Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder & salt.
  • Step #3 In another bowl beat butter, sugar & vanilla until creamy.
  • Step #4 Beat in egg, one at a time.
  • Step #5 On low, beat in flour mixture.
  • Step #6 Stir in peanuts.
  • Step #7 Spread into pan; level top.
  • Step #8 To make Cheesecake Layer: Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  • Step #9 Add sugar, eggs & flour.
  • Step #10 Gently spoon over Blondie layer & carefully smooth over.
  • Step #11 To make Brownie Layer: Stir in flour, baking powder, cocoa, & salt.
  • Step #12 In another bowl beat butter & suger until creamy.
  • Step #13 Add eggs one at a time.
  • Step #14 Add peanut butter.
  • Step #15 On low spead add 1/2 the flour mixture then add 1/2 the milk.
  • Step #16 Repeat.
  • Step #17 Gently spoon over Blondie layer & carefully smooth over.
  • Step #18 Place a tent of aluminum foil wrap over the top of the pan (make sure to "tent" the foil wrap because otherwise the top brownie layer will stick to the foil wrap & it wont look good).
  • Step #19 Bake at 350 degrees covered for 1 hr, remove foil wrap & bake 25-30 mins longer.
  • Step #20 Place on rack to cool 30 mins.
  • Step #21 Refrigerate at least 2 hrs or up to 24 hrs.
  • Step #22 Garnish: Either prepare chocolate mousse mix according to directions using only 1 c milk & spread on top or melt a jar of chocolate frosting for 30 seconds in the microwave & pour over the top (if you do this you'll want to put in the fridge for an extra hr).
  • Step #23 Once on serving plate garnish with carmel topping, chocolate shavings & sliced peanuts.
