Tomato Vegetable Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 3/4 c spicy hot V8 .
  • 3 3/4 c water .
  • 1 1/2 c orzo pasta, uncooked .
  • 1/2 c fresh parsley, minced .
  • 1 1/2 c celery, sliced 1/4-inch thick .
  • 1 1/2 c carrots, silced 1/4-inch thick .
  • 1 c frozen peas .
  • 2 (10 3/4 oz) cans condensed tomato soup .
  • 5 chicken bouillon cubes or 2 1/2 tsps chicken bouillon powder .
  • 2 (10 1/2 oz) cans vegetable broth .
  • 1 c frozen corn kernels

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large saucepan, carrots, tomato soup, broth, bouillon, V8, mix water, & celery.
  • Step #2 Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  • Step #3 Reduce heat to low & let simmer 10 mins.
  • Step #4 Add peas, corn, & orzo to pot.
  • Step #5 Return to a simmer.
  • Step #6 Simmer 10 mins or until orzo is al dente.
  • Step #7 Ladle into bowls & sprinkle with parsley.
  • Step #8 Serve as soon as possible.
