Crock Pot Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients

1 tsp oregano .
12 oz whole wheat lasagna noodles, uncooked .
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste .
2 tsps minced garlic .
1 lb lean ground turkey breast .
1 onion, sliced .
1 tsp salt .
1 (12 oz) carton fat-free cottage cheese .
8 oz shredded fat free mozzarella cheese .
1/2 c grated fat-free parmesan cheese .
2 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce

Directions

Step #1 Brown ground beef & onions in a skillet.
Step #2 Add garlic powder, tomato paste, tomato sauce, salt & oregano.
Step #3 Cook long enough to get it warm.
Step #4 In a bowl mix the cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, & mozzarella cheese.
Step #5 Spoon a layer of meat sauce onto the bottom of the crock pot.
Step #6 Add a double layer of uncooked lasagna noodles.
Step #7 (break to fit) Top with cheese mixture.
Step #8 Repeat layers two more times.
Step #9 Cook on low for 5 – 5 ½ hrs.
