Crock Pot Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp oregano .
  • 12 oz whole wheat lasagna noodles, uncooked .
  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste .
  • 2 tsps minced garlic .
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey breast .
  • 1 onion, sliced .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 1 (12 oz) carton fat-free cottage cheese .
  • 8 oz shredded fat free mozzarella cheese .
  • 1/2 c grated fat-free parmesan cheese .
  • 2 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce

Directions
  • Step #1 Brown ground beef & onions in a skillet.
  • Step #2 Add garlic powder, tomato paste, tomato sauce, salt & oregano.
  • Step #3 Cook long enough to get it warm.
  • Step #4 In a bowl mix the cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, & mozzarella cheese.
  • Step #5 Spoon a layer of meat sauce onto the bottom of the crock pot.
  • Step #6 Add a double layer of uncooked lasagna noodles.
  • Step #7 (break to fit) Top with cheese mixture.
  • Step #8 Repeat layers two more times.
  • Step #9 Cook on low for 5 – 5 ½ hrs.
