Jumble Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 c all-purpose flour .
  • 2 c raisins .
  • 1 (12 oz) package semisweet chocolate pieces or semisweet chocolate chunks .
  • 2 tsps baking soda .
  • 1 1/2 c pecan halves .
  • 2/3 c packed brown sugar .
  • 2 eggs .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1 3/4 c toasted whole almonds, coarsely sliced .
  • 1 1/2 tsps vanilla .
  • 1 c granulated sugar .
  • 1 1/4 c unsalted butter, softened

Directions
  • Step #1 Line cookie sheet with parchment paper, foil wrap or silicone.
  • Step #2 Preheat oven to 350°F In large bowl, beat butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.
  • Step #3 Beat in sugars until mixd.
  • Step #4 Beat in eggs & vanilla.
  • Step #5 Beat in as much of the flour mixture as you can & add any remaining flour by hand, if necessary.
  • Step #6 Stir in nuts, raisins, & chocolate pieces.
  • Step #7 Using 1/4 c of dough for each cookie, drop dough about 3 inches apart onto cookie sheet.
  • Step #8 Bake in preheated oven for 12 to 15 mins or until golden & set.
  • Step #9 The centers with be paler than the edges.
  • Step #10 Let cookies stand on cookie sheet for 5 mins then transfer to a wire race; let cool.
