Step #1 Set oven to 350 degrees (second-lowest oven rack).
Step #2 Butter a 9-inch square glass baking pan.
Step #3 In a bowl mix flour with baking powder, salt, cinnamon & orange zest; set aside.
Step #4 In a large bowl cream butter together with 1 c sugar until fluffy (about 3-4 mins, no sugar granules should remain).
Step #5 Add in eggs & vanilla & beat well to mix.
Step #6 Add in flour mixture alternately with milk mixing until just mixd.
Step #7 Stir in walnuts.
Step #8 Transfer to prepared baking pan.
Step #9 Bake for about 40-45 mins or until cake tests done.
Step #10 Cool for about 20 mins then slice into diamond shapes.
Step #11 Drizzle the honey glaze over the slices.
Step #12 For the honey glaze; in a saucepan mix honey, 1 c sugar & water; bring to a boil, reduce heat & let simmer for 5 mins stirring with a wooden spoon.
Step #13 Add in lemon juice & continue to boil for 2 mins.
