Drip Beef Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tbsps salt
  • 1 1/2 tsps dried rosemary
  • 2 tsps garlic salt
  • 2 tsps dried oregano
  • 2 cubes beef bouillon
  • 5 lbs chuck roast
  • 2 tbsps whole black peppercorns

Directions
  • Step #1 Place roast in a large pot with water to cover.
  • Step #2 Mix in bouillon, salt, & garlic salt.
  • Step #3 Place the bay leaves, oregano, peppercorns, & rosemary in a coffee filter & secure tightly with a rubber band.
  • Step #4 Add this to the pot.
  • Step #5 Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to low, cover with a lid, & let simmer for 6 to 8 hrs.
  • Step #6 Remove coffee filter & discard.
  • Step #7 Remove roast from the pot & shred with two forks.
  • Step #8 Reserve broth for dipping if desired.
