Ingredients
Cooking Sauce .
1/2 tsp cornstarch .
1/2 onion, sliced .
2 chicken breasts, cut up .
1 dash hot pepper sauce (hot sauce) .
3/4 tsp sugar .
1 tbsp soy sauce .
Stir fry ingrediants .
2 carrots, juliened .
1 tbsp soy sauce .
1 tsp cornstarch .
1 tsp water or sherry wine .
1/2 green pepper, sliced .
1/2 tsp ginger .
3 tbsps vegetable oil .
2 stalks celery, sliced .
1/2 c walnut pieces .
3/4 tsp white vinegar
Directions
Step #1 Prepare cooking sauce & set aside.
Step #2 Mix chicken pieces with soy sauce & cornstarch & set aside.
Step #3 Pour oil into wok & preheat at HI for 3 mins.
Step #4 When oil is hot, add walnuts & stir fry until brown (1 min) remove walnuts & set aside.
Step #5 Add chicken to oil & stir fry until chicken is opaque (3 mins); remove & set aside.
Step #6 Add celery, green peppers, & carrots first with a bit of water (I add a little extra oil here too).
Step #7 Add in onions & ginger.
Step #8 Stir fry all veggies until tender crisp.
Step #9 Add back chicken & walnuts & add in cooking sauce.
Step #10 Stir fry mixing together well for another min.
Step #11 Serve over rice.
