Slivered Chicken And Walnuts Recipe

Ingredients
  • Cooking Sauce .
  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch .
  • 1/2 onion, sliced .
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut up .
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce (hot sauce) .
  • 3/4 tsp sugar .
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce .
  • Stir fry ingrediants .
  • 2 carrots, juliened .
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce .
  • 1 tsp cornstarch .
  • 1 tsp water or sherry wine .
  • 1/2 green pepper, sliced .
  • 1/2 tsp ginger .
  • 3 tbsps vegetable oil .
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced .
  • 1/2 c walnut pieces .
  • 3/4 tsp white vinegar

Directions
  • Step #1 Prepare cooking sauce & set aside.
  • Step #2 Mix chicken pieces with soy sauce & cornstarch & set aside.
  • Step #3 Pour oil into wok & preheat at HI for 3 mins.
  • Step #4 When oil is hot, add walnuts & stir fry until brown (1 min) remove walnuts & set aside.
  • Step #5 Add chicken to oil & stir fry until chicken is opaque (3 mins); remove & set aside.
  • Step #6 Add celery, green peppers, & carrots first with a bit of water (I add a little extra oil here too).
  • Step #7 Add in onions & ginger.
  • Step #8 Stir fry all veggies until tender crisp.
  • Step #9 Add back chicken & walnuts & add in cooking sauce.
  • Step #10 Stir fry mixing together well for another min.
  • Step #11 Serve over rice.
