Farfalle With Smoked Salmon And Cream Cheese Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 oz bar cream cheese, cut into small pieces .
  • 12 oz farfalle pasta .
  • 1 small red onion, quartered & thinly sliced .
  • coarse salt .
  • 2 tbsps capers, drained .
  • 4 oz smoked salmon, cut into bite sized pieces .
  • 1/4 c fresh dill, coarsely sliced or 1 tsp dried dill .
  • pepper

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  • Step #2 Reserve 1/2 c pasta water.
  • Step #3 Add onions to pot, then as soon as possible drain remaining water.
  • Step #4 Return onions & pasta to pot.
  • Step #5 Add cream cheese, dill & salmon to pot.
  • Step #6 Toss ingredients together, adding a little bit of the reserved water at a time to form a thin sauce that coats the pasta.
  • Step #7 You may not need all of the sauce.
  • Step #8 Spice up with salt & pepper.
